Turquoise spherical jar with a typical raku crackled glaze and black top caused by thermal shock and carbonised cracks in the glaze.
The shape is based on a traditional Korean jar which is mostly white and spherical to emulate the moon. It presents quite a challenge to the potter to create because of the collapsible nature of wet clay
Raku pots are decorative, and not suitable for food or liquid use.
